New Condo Building Interiors

The developer of this new six-story building with nine condo units in the neighborhood of Gowanus in Brooklyn asked Ms. Ibáñez to propose the interior design of the main floor public spaces as well as the typical elevator lobby. In addition, he also wanted to design the kitchens and bathrooms of the units.

The concept idea was ‘classic and modern’ from Mies Van Der Rohe. The Christian Dior building in Japan, which is a fairly straightforward trapezoid in Tokyo’s fashion center, brought some design inspiration for the building. By incorporating stylish materials and modern furniture into the project, this building would become chic and unique in its surroundings.
